Band Bio
Formed in the Autumn of 2004, Andrew Jonathan, Michael Morgan and brothers Micah
and Tony Olla emphatically pieced together this celestial rock outfit to employ their
delay pedals, vintage keyboards and the hundreds of melodies running through their
heads.
The band held off the standard rituals of touring to write the greatest
songs of their lives. Then, in the Spring of 2005, they fled their home state of
Wisconsin for almost five weeks and recorded their early masterpiece - the Last Embrace
EP - in Nashville, Tennessee. Their first official recording, released independently
in the United States in February of 2006, includes the epic Dutch Radio, the haunting
This Wreckage, and the sleeper space rock hit Galaxy. The entire record is etched
with ambient guitars and slices of analog keys that weave in between Andrew Jonathan´s
passionate vocals.
In April of 2007, Japanese based BM.3 Records released
Last Embrace as a full length, ten-song album in Japan. Around the same time the
band independently released - Only Seconds - a hook laden, four-song EP that includes
the modern classics For All These Years and We´re On Fire. Since the independent release
of the Last Embrace EP, Andrew, Michael, Tony, and Micah have taken their rock sonnets
to the stage supporting such bands as the Silversun Pickups, Ben Lee, The Hush Sound,
Bon Jovi, The Gufs, Mute Math and Switchfoot.
Their energy and phenomenal
live show now rivals any of the great arena rock acts that have emerged within the
last twenty years. The release of Northern Room´s Last Embrace EP, and their unhinged
live act, has marked the beginning of history for not only the band but for the heart
of the world.
